The puppeteer Yannis Voultsidis will present us with two shadow theater plays for both children and adults, with artistic activities for children and live music (santouri- tzouras), at the Klimax garden on Wednesday, July 13 and on Thursday, July 14 2016, at 21.00.

Our folk theater Karagiozis has amused and entertained - or better it has amused by entertaining – several generations of Greeks, adding soul and content to their lives. Karagiozis ... the hero, who despite the wallops by history and destiny, resists and won’t surrender to death or any form of icy compromise. Karagiozis with his concentrated tragedy, his sure plan and his strong and clear contrasts taught us to laugh with our sufferings and preserve this carefree lightness offered by the Mediterranean climate.
